FAQ

  • Maintaining your Candle
The first time burning your candle, make sure the wick is trimmed to approximately 1/4”. It’s important on the first burn to burn long enough to make a full melting pool. We don’t recommend burning the candle for more than 4hrs. Trim the wick approximately 1/4” before every burn. This will reduce smoke and increases burn time.
  • What kind of wax do you use?
I use: 100% soy wax product from US grown soybeans
  • Do you use more than one type of wick?
Yes! We use natural cotton wax wicks for all of our vodka candles. A Eco cotton/paper wick for all of our champagne bottles and a Eco-friendly, clean-burning, wooden wicks in our Aura Gold, White and Black jars. We can also use a Eco cotton / paper wick in the Aura Gold, White, and Black jars per your request on the order page.
  • My candle has wet spots or Frosting. Why?
Wet spots or frosting on a candle are very common and natural characteristics of a pure vegetable wax and are mostly caused by changes in temperature. They are purely aesthetic and absolutely do not affect the scent throw or burn properties of the candle. Often, The candle appearance will self correct once a candle is burning and heating in the jar.
  • Can I use my room spray as a body spray?
No! They are made for eliminating odors in trash cans, cars, and linens. The weighed fragrance load exceeds the amount you’d put in a body mist or perfume. It’s not intended for the skin.
